Distressed Properties are the new norm in today's Real Estate Market. Whether you need to sell a distressed property, or wish to buy a foreclosure--- it's best to work with a Realtor who understands the new rules! As a Certified Distressed Property Expert, I've taken the time to study how best to list and sell a short sale. And if you are interested in purchasing a distressed home, I can also guide you through evaluating the product and making offers that stick. Typically 8-12% of all Short Sales close. 80-90% of listings put together by CDPE's close. That's a big difference. So how does EUGENE fair in all of this? As of December 2009, we have over 200 distressed properties for sale through the MLS system. The Treasury Department recently released new guidelines that will help Short Sales succeed in shorter time periods. This is good news for everyone.
