When I first toured the two new homes in Cottage Canyon phase 2, I remember thinking that they were the best examples of entry-level housing I had ever seen. And at that point, entry level housing seemed to rest at about $300k in Bend. Months later I happened to take the two listings myself---and even as the market has dipped considerably (and fast!) I have never stopped believing that they were absolutely saleable and worth the money. Yesterday the owner and builder dropped the price to $199,000. I am floored that there hasn't been a run of offers this morning :)
Take the time to revisit these solid single-level homes. It's worth a look---and ready for a buyer.
